Due to the Covid19 pandemic situation in the country preliminary round of the National Chemistry Olympiad competition was not held in the year 2021. Therefore, 26 finalists were selected from students with three A passes (3As) for the G.C.E (A/L) 2020 examination. Several online training workshops were conducted by the Chemistry Olympiad Sri Lanka (COSL) committee members to teach the difficult areas that will be tested at the Chemistry Olympiad competition. The final examination was held on 30th May 2021 and winners were selected based on the results.
