The Institute of Chemistry Ceylon annually organizes the Sri Lanka National Chemistry Olympiad (SLNChO) to recognize outstanding students in chemistry. This year the Sri Lanka Junior Chemistry Olympiad was organized for the first time ever to give young aspiring school children a chance to showcase their talents in chemistry. The Sri Lanka Junior Chemistry Olympiad provides students with an early Olympiad experience so that they may apply to the Sri Lanka National Chemistry Olympiad and thus obtain the opportunity of representing Sri Lanka at the international stage.
The Sri Lanka Junior Chemistry Olympiad 2025 was held on 25th January 2025, Island wide in 8 examination centers. More than 200 candidates participated in the competition. The list of prize winners of the competition are given below.
